Funny. There are several threads discussing this concept, I'm sure. but this one is about why people hate the Cowboys. Can you read?

wtf matt?
you live in texas, and arent a fan, you are the last person that should be basing their opinion as objective
throughout the season until the cowboys game, it was all saints all the time after that giants game
yall really need to stop being such haters.
there are like 20 different sports channels on some tv packages these days

The Cowboys have always been hated and loved more than any other football franchise in the history of the NFL.
how it is and always has been. i'm fortunate enough to have been a fan since i was a boy when my grandfather and i would watch the games together and my son will, no doubt, watch with his grandson.
i've been fortunate enough to see more post-season performances than any other franchise in the history of the nfl, as the cowboys have played in the playoffs in almost 30 seasons.
there is parity in the league, and the chances of winning a superbowl is smaller and smaller every year.
if saints fans think that a superbowl victory is imminent, they just need to look at two years ago, when everyone thought that the giants need not show up for the superbowl.
lifelong cowboys fans can celebrate the play of roger staubach, tony dorsett, troy aikman, emmitt smith and michael irvin. they can know that football in texas will always be bigger than any other place in the world.

I mean, it's pretty obvious that the Cowboys for the most part aren't well-liked nationally. You can take that as a sign of respect for your franchise or you can take it that people just resent its popularity.
And FWIW, Saints fans have become pretty cocky. They remind me of Hornets fans two years ago.

Yes indeed, it was good for him. Because it was correct. Unless the poster he was responding to wasn't really a fan of the Saints, that is...

Actually, no. I was fighting the battle before he posted. But nice try.

the cowboys arent well liked bc they are successful, and it doesnt help them that they are located in texas, another state that is not liked as much nationally
my problem is that its the same thing with lsu fans, and the funny part is, most msb posters are the ones that make fun of lsu tards on the rant bc they bitch about the lack of respect and media suckfest of usc
but then when it comes to saints and cowboys, they are huge hypocrites when they act in the exact same manner

again, as a rockets fans, ill take this opinion with a grain of salt. yes, saints fans are arrogant and the bandwagon is as full as any team in the league, but hornets fans had every reason to think they had a good chance. they were a half away from the western finals, and blew it at home. that team was very good

I never understood it. I'm not a Dallas fan or anything but why should they be hated more or less than any other team?
Several reasons. They have the most bandwagon fans of any team on the planet, they have fans that are mildly to fully retarded, they have egos the size of Texas, Jerry Jones is a tool, the fans and players live in the past, they have prettier cheerleaders than everyone else, they have a monstrosity of a TV in their stadium, and they are in Texas and most things from texas suck(except Brees).
Hope I helped.

exactly. i love seeing new orleans succeed as much as anyone who has spent time there, but anyone thinking that they're confident in a superbowl victory is plain naive.
i have said that this season may be a season of destiny for the saints, but, shite, it could very easily end up being another close but disappointing season for a franchise that has known nothing but failure since it's inception.

Ron, why does it seem as if most the Cowboy haters have such a low fricking IQ? Like zero comprehension skills and no ability to think of something new to say. They are almost always a piece of repeating shite that seems like robots programmed to say the same fricking things, over and over and over and over again.
