Well.. if what he said wasn't true then why do you assume he was talking about your family? Maybe he just made up some BS just to have some material for his show.

Not my family, friend of the family.
He used descriptions of them and then added all his bullshite in order to make it material for his show, then admitted as much when called out on it but refused to apologize.
It's not illegal by any means but certainly scuzzy behavior that made me think he's about a half-step up from pond scum.

that's a damn good impression
I like Rich. he used to come in my gym a lot and was super nice guy. I'm not a big fan of his show but I don't hate it either. he's just a loud mouth from the channel who's good for few laughs.

I've always heard him say he was from Terrytown but grew up in da' Channel because that's where he spent most of his time with his grandparents.

Did he call them out by name? If not, why were they offended? No one would know who he was talking about.
