Bro, according to b-ball ref harden leads the nba in

PER
Ws/48
BPM
OBPM
DBPM

For these playoffs. That is 5 of the top metrics we use, and he is #1 at all of them. To keep it frank, he is the best player in the nba in these playoffs.

Harden break down defense and get Pj a wide open 3. Rim out. We will take that shot every time down if we can get it.

I can’t begin to explain how awesome it’s been as a Thunder fan this season. After another playoff abortion last season, most of us figured we would soon enter an incredibly long and painful rebuild.

Nope.

Soon PG13 and Russ are flipped for an absurd number of draft picks, and we end up with SGA and CP3.

Being in the playoffs, let alone playing competitively, are just the cherry on top.

it kills me to say this, but that PG13 swap for SGA and a trillion picks could end up being the nba equivalent of the cowboys herschel walker trade

it's all on hinkie to turn these picks into a contending team. as philly recently showed us, it's not enough to just acquire draft capital, you have to then turn that capital into talent.

It would be pretty wild for not one of the Thunder picks to pan out, considering Presti’s draft success.

Also, what if Clippers deal doesn’t work out, and Kawhi/PG13 opt out in 2021...

Must feel good to sit at home every year as a very good statistical player while some other scrubs go get the rings.

your statement alone does nothing to prove him wrong. They had Durant and Westbrook for a while. So it's not like they were drafting in the lottery.
You may still be right once you actually go through the drafts and see who he passed on that would have been better than what he ended up getting. But your statement without context is empty

Teams like the lakers have found talent in the back of the draft in recent memory

Bazley is looking like a pretty good pick, along with Dort who was UDFA. Also traded for Domantas Sabonis on draft night. OKC has also had very few top-20 picks. I think Adams, Cameron Payne and Sabonis would be it since the Durant, Westbrook, Harden drafts.

And I wouldn't really give them sabonis or Payne as they got rid of both super quick. And is Payne even really like a legit rotation guy?

I do like dort

Domantas Sabonis was drafted by Orlando with the sole intent of trading him to OKC on draft night.

So while not technically an OKC pick, he was 100% who Presti wanted.
