In my opinion he just doesn't have an edge anymore. Sure he can play well one week and win but he has nothing that is dominate in his game anymore.

His 3 wood off the tee is pretty dominant.

Also, he's got some nice shoes. Would kill for a pair of shoes like that...

I can agree with this. Though, I think if he makes that one break through win in a major he will be reinvigorated with his drive and determination. He just needs that taste. I thought TPC would help that , but he just wasnt himself at Merion. Something I've noticed is that he always has trouble putting when it rains. He can never seem to adjust his putter when the greens change mid-round or mid-tournament.

still doesn't mean he can't win 5 more majors.

remember this, jack won 4 majors after 1977 but he never won the money title or player of the year after 1977. in other words, jack won 4 majors and was never the best player on tour in any of those years. the big difference is jack didn't have the pressure that tiger has with chasing the record. jack had it by 1977.

Referring to your self in the third person is for Marine recruits during boot, and people who think they're better than everyone else.

If somebody does that in front of me, I agree with them.

For example, Croacka hits a bad shot:

Croacka: Come on Croacka!! What are you thinking??

BRGTN: Yeah! Come on Croacka!! What were you thinking??

Works 70% of the time, every time.

Once last year, somebody said something when he was in the middle of the fairway from the other side of the ropes during his back swing.

He responded with, "Come on guuuuuuys!"

I thought, you can take the nerd out of Stanford and put him on the PGA, but you're never gonna take the nerd out of him.

He's just an overgrown nerd.

But you don't play golf. So people don't take you seriously. I know the feeling.

In his prime, TW had the best short game I've ever seen. He could get it up and down from anywhere and the Scotty Cameron was magic.

Now he's average at best from 130 and in and I can't remember the last time he made a meaningful putt in a major. I don't see him winning #15, much less #19.

He doesn't need an edge to get to 19.

We can all agree that he scarred his opponents when he first came out. They watched for him at the top when he was in tournaments. These young guys have grown up watching him on t.v. They don't have the wounds these older players have. It will be hard to win like he did earlier. If you notice, his wins come on courses he's familiar with.
