Stockton over Magic?
I think Magic was a better player, but may not be happy if he didn't at least get some shots. Stockton didn't mind a stat line of 8/2/15 for points, steals, assists for his season. He may mesh better
Center is the best position the league has had. You could put down 10, and still potentially leave out guys like Ewing and Mourning

I miss the 90's NBA, it was badass. I miss 90's Tennessee football too

Your team has LeBron, Jordan, Shaq, and Moses Malone. The last thing you need is a PG who likes to shoot. It is not a knock on Magic, but if you want that team to be as competitive as possible IMO, you need a PG who will feed the rock to the playmakers.

I absolutely disagree. Center is the most competitive position among all-time greats. Kareem and Wilt were also unstoppable. Russell is also in the mix.
I agree. Center is pretty much the one position you can't go wrong. There's just so much talent there.
But I love Hakeem's inclusion of Moses Malone. What a bad arse he was.

Magic scored more than Stockton because it was simply easier for Magic to score. He was that much better of a basketball player. Magic was also extremely unselfish. You take him over Stockton 10 times out of 10.

Plus he can space the floor shooting the 3.

You think you know more than The Dream, bitch?
Posted on 11/22/13 at 10:35 am to Jamohn
One of the reasons Hakeem the Dream is still my favorite player in any sport. The guy is 100% class.

He could have easily put himself in at the 4, but he is too humble and has respect for the history of the game

I am shocked that people dont appreciate this more.
I pretty much stopped watching the NBA after Shaq left. The games were so much more entertaining to me back then. Shaq, Hakeem, Robinson, Jordan, Barkley, Pippen etc.

more entertaining because all the superstars were spaced out.
now you get cluster frick of stars on <10 teams

What in the shite happened to Penny Hardaway? He was badass, won a title, did the Lil Penny commercials, had it going on, then fell off the planet. How'd he go down the shitter so fast?
Penny was the 90's version of Brandon Roy. A shame too, cause both had the potential to be HOF's.

You can't just give Shaq the modern advantages and insert into the games played Wilt, Kareem, and Wilt. There is no true answer because they played in vastly different eras.
Posted on 11/22/13 at 12:58 pm to Bench McElroy
You gotta have Shaq. He's won with almost every team he's been on.

Moses Malone over Duncan? Lol alright
Posted on 11/22/13 at 1:03 pm to PrimeTime Money
Shaq had 90's and 00's technology, medical, and travel advance that did not apply to the pre-merger days in the NBA.
The point is that these guys played in ridiculously different eras in all respects. All you know is that these great centers obliterated the competition.

He'd score 80 pts a night. He would knock both of those guys and Chamberlain around all night.
Sorry, but Shaq wouldn't be able to knock Wilt around. It could be argued that Wilt would be the one doing the kicking around. Wilt was strong as hell

Yeah, how dare people chose a 3 time MVP who averaged 20.3 PPG and 12.3 RPG (compared to Duncan's also impressive 20.1 and 11.2)? What also makes Moses so impressive is that he averaged 5.1 offensive rebounds per game over his career, compared to Duncan's 2.9.
Moses Malone was an f'n beast. I can see picking Duncan over him, but the idea that picking Big Mo is laughable shows a total ignorance of history. Moses Malone was awesome.
