Do you support this OSU player?

Wow, just read a backstory on this, and it started when Gundy said he watches One America News because they just report the news. And for most hours of the day, he is 100% CORRECT.
If youve never turned on OAN in the middle of the day, they really do just report news stories without social commentary and it is a breath of fresh air.
At night they do have some “commentary” type opinion shows, and that is where OAN gets the rap of being alt-right. But their everyday news reporting is nothing like those nightly shows.
So if Gundy is really wearing the shirt because he supports the news part of the channel, and getting crucified because people don’t understand the difference, then that is totally unfair. But in today’s world there is no room for nuance.

I mean, I really dont give a shite WHY he is wearing the shirt. It's a shirt with the name of a fricking news network. If that offends you then you should just bury yourself alive.
Are people outraged if they see someone with a BET shirt on? How about an ESPN shirt?
Chuba Hubbard is a fantastic football player, but he can absolutely go get fricked on this bullshite.

Here is my statement I wrote, unsolicited for Mike Gundy:
"I have an opportunity today to learn a lesson and teach a lesson. I recently wore a T-shirt with the logo of the news organization OAN, which stands for One American News. It was on a fishing trip and I was not publicizing it, but it got out anyway and that's OK.
I enjoy watching news and keeping up with current events. I believe that all citizens should be informed. Staying informed is not watching one channel or one point of view. Staying informed is listening to as many different voices as possible.
I watch multiple news channels and read many different publications. They all have their flaws and cater to different views on the political spectrum. They all make mistakes. They all rush to judgement. They all produce stories they later regret.
This is why we all need to listen to diverse viewpoints. That is the lesson that I hope I can share.
The lesson I have learned is that I hold a position of influence, and that I need to be very careful allowing any company, media outlet or political viewpoint to be associated with me. Because that, by default, becomes associated with this great university and these great players.
I regret that any student-athletes were put in a position to have to respond to this and I welcome any of them to discuss this with me at any time.
Thanks and Go Pokes.

Yea it’s been pretty funny watching some of the posters on here talking about the network knowing they’ve never even heard of it till today

I'm not and I never have been. Racism should be a powerful word that carries great weight, but you have cheapened it to mean "people I don't agree with"
You should be ashamed.

Do you whip running backs who don’t accumulate enough yards during practice/games to set an example?

I’ve watched their content and they go out of their way to avoid the Fox News/CNN opinion panel formula. The best description I can give of their coverage is a local news structure covering national and international issues.

So its the opposite of MSNBC, CNN, CBS, ABC, NBC. I'll have to start watching this network as I am tired of Fake news.
