out of curiosity how long has this investigation been going on because I had no idea GT was about to be nailed with all the other stuff that has been happening.

We already had to endure years of Gailey and Hewitt, what else could they punish us with?

No one had any idea that any type of investigation had been going on. A few players have tweeted this morning that they "weren't expecting to wake to this" and stuff along those lines.

GT was told of these violations this morning. Nobody knew anything about it.

Not knowing how to throw a forward pass, running the same play all game, only allowed to have 3 stars commit..

Apparently there are a lot of posters out here today with their Sarcasm/Joke Detectors off.

My post was made in jest, as I do realize that USC has faced stiff penalties, OSU will get hit hard, and Oregon will have to face the piper in the coming future. Auburn is in a category in itself.

I got a friend who starts for GT and he said don't be worried about it. Could be all talk, who knows.

I saw this over at Stingtalk:

My wife just edited the press release about this. It involves BeBe and Morgan Burnett. Not exactly sure what though.

EDIT: For playing in the last 3 games (including the ACC Championship)

This is ridiculous. We haven't heard a peep about GT infractions (which are apprently minor from what I'm hearing) this entire time, and they've already released a decision and conference call? We've been talking Oregon, Auburn, UNC, and OSU for months now and not even a mention from the NCAA other than "we're investigating". Jesus H Christ.

My friend on the team just responded to my text of what do you know about these violations w "wait, what happened?". Either he is an idiot or the football team is being left in the dark. He is probably just an idiot.

ETA "holy shite we have a meeting at 4 haha" is what he just sent me
