I'll say this: At least Popavich earned the right to criticize this nation. I disagree with him but he did more for this country than 95% of those who will attack him for his views.
I get riled up when worthless 20-something neckbeards with a degree in the social sciences talk shite.

You don't have to serve to have a right to criticize the nation. Popovich has a platform to speak his views but it has nothing to do with his service in the Air Force.
And just because you served doesn't mean you can't have dumb opinions.

Still think he needs to be removed from USA Basketball. I appreciate his comments and appreciate his views, but he’s degrading the very institution he’s representing. Actions and words have consequences

Completely agree and it hurts me as a Spurs fan to say that

Same here but after the first outburst I said they needed to do it.
As I posted earlier ITT what would his reaction be if they went with someone like Doc, Shaka Smart, or Ewing? What would the players say also?

Every other race didn't have that shite pushed into their neighblrhoods by politicians like Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton neither. Look deep into the Iran Contra to see what happened.

+2
If he's soooo embarrassed by this country, he should cede the honor of coaching the Dream Team to someone else.

Unless someone literally held a gun to their heads and forced them to smoke crack, I have zero sympathy for them.

I like that the Spurs have become irrelevant ever since Pop became such a politically outspoken douche bag.
Yup, the Spurs are totally irrelevant. They're only on pace for 49 wins despite Kawhi playing in nine games this year. Let's see how relevant other NBA franchises are when their best player is sidelined by injury for pretty much the entire season.

This is true. It's proven in declassified documents. Between that and so many in gov now pushing anti white shite it's pretty obvious the enemy isn't white or black people. The enemy is a government with divisive and oppressive tendencies. But noooo, we allow the media to drum up division even more and push us into mindless tribalism of black against white or straight against gay, whatever.

All due respect to the yeoman's work the supporting cast has done this year, but we are not relevant by Spurs standards (i.e., in contention, ready to gel after the Rodeo Road Trip). If Kawhi comes back healthy along with the other nagging injuries, maybe we'll actually contend. Who knows.
But as it stands right now, being on pace for a sub-50 win season is not Alamo City basketball, Kawhi or not. Not one other team in this league is gonna shed a tear that #2 isn't on the court for us

I think Pop is planning to run for president in 2020 as the candidate for the Cuck Party. Kerr will be his running mate.

Bingo. And us as a nation is letting the media push this racism shite and have the people who trust the media fall for their agenda

You don't have to have sympathy for them. I was just stating where crack came from and was put into inner cities. People in the ghetto didn't own boats or planes to fly to colombia.

The rate of interracial couples/marriages/offspring has done nothing but rise the past couple generations, and most everyone I know reports little to nothing changing in their day to day race relations, yet if you talk to shrill leftists and the media, you'd think we're on the brink of an all out race war.
It's absurd.

Just because it was put there doesn't mean it had to be smoked

Gregg Popovich is asked about Black History Month and the efforts the league makes to promote it. Starts by pointing out the obvious importance in a league as diverse as the NBA. Then: “More importantly, we live in a racist country that hasn’t figured it out yet.”
The NBA is probably the least diverse in all of major sports.
