sure...

McElory is just trying to get clicks. Saban isn't coming back to this clown show called college football.

He left the NFL for the same reasons college football exist today.

It would only hurt his legacy. He’s only getting older

I can’t imagine that there is validity to this. Didn’t he leave because of the current state of college football? What’s changed? It’s only going to get worse.

He's tantamount to a god in Tuscaloosa, I can't imagine him coaching ANYWHERE unless it's a P4 team that doesn't play Alabama that at least has a chance to be very good on a consistent level. Probably won't be Notre Dame since Marcus is killing it up there.

Saban to the Patriots
Belichick to Bama

He's rich AF, still has a revenue stream with his car dealerships, gameday, sponsors (Aflac), etc. He's also being appointed the head of whatever board for college football by Trump. He's done everything you ever could in college football. And he'll be 74 years old in a few months. Greg McElroy is just engagement farming

I could see him helping out someone for free during spring training or fall practice, maybe even a small school, working with defensive backs, just to get back on the field and have a little fun doing some actual coaching. But he ain’t running a major program again, not in the NIL era. No way.

Saban is not going back to deal with NIL and transfer nonsense. And i dont think he liked the NFL either. He's done.

If Alabama doesn't have a good season, I can see him going back. I can't fathom that he coaches anywhere else if he returns.

Dude gushes about his time in Baton Rouge, has NFL experience, and Big 10 experience.

Mmmkay.

I'll believe it when I see it. I get that coaches love coaching, but what's the incentive for him to return? He doesn't need the money, wins, championships or anything else. Must be ego.
