Braylen’s travel ball team in 2016 was really good. Most of those kids are playing varsity right now

1929 A's tend to fly under the radar, but they were awesome.

I remember the SI cover story on them. Compelling argument.

2015-2018 Real Madrid>>>>>>2009-2012 Barca.

My vote goes to the 2010 Spain national team.

The Big Red Machine

granted there's no pitchers, but with that lineup, it wasn't needed

Wow, Al Simmons had some tiny, Hack Wilson-esque feet.

Everyone remembers what Hubbell did, but the AL won the game

Just so I’m clear, are you putting this Bama team on the same planet as the 92 dream team?

Currently, of course Bama

It’s easy to look good when you don’t play anybody until November year in and year out.

Eta: 2011 LSU team was the best CFB team I’ve ever watched.

Notice I said nothing about 2012

Iowa State robbed them of the legacy they deserved.

Stop calling the Warriors great. Great teams don't beg an MVP in their prime to join them after losing to a healthy finals opponent.

Bird, McHale, Parish, Walton (won the 6th man award that year), Ainge, DJ.

“And they had that one trump card that I always like to cite as my reason why I believe it’s the best team of all time: There have been other great sixth men in history … but there was never, for that one year, a sixth man who affected the game in the way that Bill Walton did.

He was a different kind of a sixth man.
He gave them a dimension that no team had. He gave them the best one-two center punch in the history of the game, and that’s unarguable. I don’t think anyone would dare to contradict that statement that there never was a better one-two center punch in the league than Parish and Walton that year."

You had a former NBA MVP coming off the bench...on team that was already dominant during that decade.
