Nobody has feared Lambeau in the cold since Mike Vick in the playoffs put that myth to bed

Just look at the last few years alone

95-98 Bulls would be close to 86 Celtics.

Only lost 5 games at home from 95-97. (98-5 record)
They lost 6 at home in 97-98 season, but that still gives them a 145-11 record at home for 3 seasons. 30-3 in playoff games.

Probably the same question - was that a home field advantage or were they just that good? On the road they were 103-45.

I think the greatest home advantage in sports is for Basketball. Too many games in baseball & it plays a factor in football, but usually the better team wins. ...I don't know shite about soccer, but I imagine some of those teams in Europe have a huge home field advantage.

the Celtics at Boston Garden.

The old parquet floor had uneven places that all of the Celtics were aware of. It used to cause turnovers for the teams that came in to play them. The Lakers played on it a bunch back then.

Rumors were that Red Auerbach turned on the heat during the season in the opponents locker room. Teams hated coming in and playing there.

The Miami Hurricanes back in the day were nearly impossible to beat at home... 58 in a row from 1985-1994

Meh, those are just the popular answers.

I guess when you consider a home field "advantage" as being a "disadvantage" to your opponent, then you can count football stadiums.. even though they don't always convert to wins at home. Seahawks definitely have an advantage playing at home even though they went 3-5 at home last year.

Boston Garden was legit, so is TS for a big game but that Soccer shite is on a different level. In Russia, Argentina etc there is a real chance of violence.
