They can laugh all they want but Davis is walking in a couple years anyway. Why not get 2 top 3 picks next year and another top pick the year after, plus two solid players. Pels signed their death warrant when they acquired Boogie

Okay. Strap in. Told by a source w/knowledge of the process that Gordon Hayward has NOT made a decision yet & is still in the process. FWIW.

Not so fast, per Woj

quote:

Gordon Hayward's agent, Mark Bartelstein, tells ESPN: "Gordon hasn't made a decision yet. We are still working through it."

You think Horford's a star?

He'd make a great 4th option, especially now.

Heat reporters are saying they're on to plan B already. Wonder what's going on.

I agree if it doesn't work, but death warrant is a bit extreme.

The Pellies have to sign some shooters. If they can do that, boogie/ad will work.

As interesting as this Lebron to Lakers stuff is, I'm not sure I want it to happen. He will probably want Ingram and Ball moved for another star to combine with LBJ and Paul George. And then we are fricked in a couple of years when Lebron finally breaks down.

IMO, it would be much wiser to go after PG and maybe Boogie Cousins.

Lonzo
PG
Ingram
Randle
Cousins

That's a lineup that could strike when the Warriors eventually break up or get old.

If the Pels make the playoffs this year, which I am confident they will, Boogie will return.

Once that happens they'll be a solid playoff team, kinda like the Grizzlies, and AD will stay. They won't win a title, but they could become a really solid team

League's blocking the signing citing basketball reasons.

They signed their death warrant by creating the best front line in the NBA?

I wouldn't give up that much for Davis. Trade half of that and get Boogie while maintaining depth.
