This happens when everyone is trying to be the first to break the news. A lot of sources burned up today.

Woj says he eliminated the heat last night. So if he renegs on Boston it'll be for Utah

Boy it must suck to be that Chris Haynes guy from ESPN who "broke" the story. Reputation is toast

Tony Jones @tribjazz Can confirm reports that neither the Jazz not the Celtics were notified of a decision today by Hayward in an official capacity

Sources claiming Pat Riley more than likely the person who put the Hayward done deal shite out there to piss off Ainge. They claim he absolutely hates Danny Ainge, and would do anything he could to screw him over or make him look like a jack arse.

People also need to remember, some of these media guys are mouth pieces for GM's. Especially the good ones. Riley talks to his media guy, floats the rumor, it causes all hell to break loose.

Its like that African bird that alerts the meerkat that an enemy is coming. Every once in a while he will give a fake alarm when has hungry to steal their food. But u put up with it cause he keeps u alive. These gms pick someone and basically make their career. So when the gm wants to frick u in the arse by using u to float a BS story u just got to deal with it

You guys are hyping Hayward up way too much. He's solid but not a superstar

Elite role player. Reading this board makes you think he's LeBron or KD.

He will make little to minimum impact. Early exit again.

Ok guy. Nothing wrong with calling him an elite role player. He's a career 16ppg guy. Not a superstar, but not chopped liver either.

Kawhi Leonard career ppg: 16.4

Ok guy. Leonard also is an elite role player/situational defender for closing time.

And we are now underrating him. He's an all star and would be a major part of any team in the NBA
