Somebody wake me up when they find out exactly what Daryl Morey has accomplished in his many years in Houston. I don't consider two trips to the Western Conference finals to be that big of an accomplishment.

i'd really love to see them do another analysis for this series, to account for all of the offensive push offs and no-calls when the rockets were on defense from games 3-6.

Morey has been very good.

But not even a fraction as good as what Rockets fans think he is. He’s kept them competitive but never truly elite.

Morey was somewhat hamstrung this season by being forced to get under the tax. His blunder in the Ryno contract was costly, but he’s done a pretty solid job. Having to give away Ennis sucked for Houston.

I thought Capella was pretty awful outside of game 3. I usually like his game but he didnt help them much over the series.

How do you judge any success that isn’t winning the nba finals then?

I am super disappointed with rockets right now but making the WCF is still a good season. Money may deserve some criticism but it’s ridiculous to say anything but the finals is a failur e

Boom is in everyone’s head and that is clouding some judgement here

Yeah Harden and CP3 are super fricking annoying, and I hate Eric Gordon for somewhat irrational personal reasons

But damn, one could argue y'all were one Chris Paul hammy away from a ring last year and have run into the best team on the planet for 4 of 5 seasons

It’s disingenuous to say Houston hasn’t been successful for the past few years just because they haven’t won a title.

People are just piling on right now because that’s the fun thing to do in 2019.

Your statement is true but context matters.

They built a really good team and the timing coincided with one of the best teams/dynasties we've seen since the '60s at the peak of their powers in the same conference.

So which GM's are better? Like David Griffin had anything to do with the Cavs success. Myers has been good for GS but he didn't draft curry or klay.

They have been a top 5 NBA team for the last 5 years. They ran into an all time dynasty. This doesn't make him an all time great GM but he's definitely one of the best 5 in the league.

Well he wasn’t playing

Do you think Paul would have had a negative impact on that game last year?

Do you like your team’s chances more with or without Chris Paul playing instead of a backup?

Seems obvious, no?

Yeah, at least they've won the West a couple of times. That means something.
