A shame what injuries have done to his career. One of the best players in the game when healthy.

In his 14 year career, he's only played a full season 4 times. Winning an MVP in 2017 and runner up in 2014. Still believe he can get to 600.

I’m actually surprised he’s hit that many considering his injuries.

He was one of the best power hitters maybe - i'll give you that. He was probably a two tool player at his peak.

I find it weird how baseball players get injured so much playing a game where they are just standing around 90% of the time and its a non contact sport. I get the pitchers getting their arms injured.

I can’t believe he’s been in the show that long

He might have the most raw power I've ever seen. I'm not sure if I've ever seen anyone else who could hit one like this.

So, he's 14 years in and rarely stays healthy. Yet you still say:

That makes zero sense.

Just the volume of games make it likely. I mean they basically play 162 games like in 187 days

Steroids are bad for anyone. Dude can barely hit .200. Complete bust since he came to NY.

Especially since it appears it's been 5 years since he's been healthy enough to play 90% of a season.

In order to get another 200 HRs, he would need to keep the pace he has had over the last 3 years ~30HRs a year, for 7 years

1-Dan Patrick just said he was one of the fastest to 400, which is crazy
2-When I heard he hit 400, my first thought was, "If he hadn't been hurt so much, it would be 600".

It’s always his legs too. Calf strains and hammies. Just odd that he can’t stay healthy when they know the problem.
