Has the Jax game ever been part of the season tickets package for both schools? They don't want it to be in the season tickets. You probably have to give some big bucks to the booster club to get tickets to the Jax game.

It's really not that expensive to get tickets if you're a season ticket holder.
Believe last year it was $150 or so

Instead of being on a college campus where thousands of college kids naturally reside it's going to be a in professional venue built for professional sports and concerts named after a vehicle and a bank, respectively, surrounded by parking lots.

you're right it is illogical, but to your credit this rivalry has taken turns being lopsided for most of its history. So I give you that.
With that said it is the most unique rivalry game in all of CFB.

No. I mean, not really. It's considered a neutral game so it has different point requirements for requests when you put in your request in the spring. In other words, in years when UGA is the designated home team, you don't just automatically get that game included in your season ticket package. It's treated basically like an away/bowl game.

For starters it's obviously not a "regular" rivalry game due to not being played on a campus and being in the same neutral site for almost 100 years.
-the stadium split down the middle 50/50, which can also be said about Tx/OU which is about the only other thing those two games share
-It's set pretty damn near the state line border between the two states which can't be said for dallas
-While RRS is in a state fair (lmao) the WLOCP is in a tropical locale along the banks of a river
-Unlike RRS and pretty much any other rivalry, this isn't a game that people drive into on Friday night or Saturday mornign then go back home after the game. It's a vacation in the fall that people will spend an entire week for.
I haven't said it's the best rivalry and would never claim as such. But there are no football games anywhere else in CFB that are quite the same as this one due to the above.

Right. Unless the Jags move and they blow up the stadium it will stay in Jacksonville. We've played there since 1933 and is as much of tradition as anything else in college football.
We haven't held up our end of the bargain, but the game is usually good for at least a half. It's competitive ( though we will continue to take Ls as long as we keep sucking at recruiting and coaching) but isn't going anywhere.

Won't happen anytime soon with NIL and athletic departments trying to come up with new revenue sources to cover paying players. The entities that host those neutral site regular season games pay big bucks to the schools to come play in those games. If anything, more schools are probably going to be trying to play in those types of games because they need the payday. Look how many schools are starting to do sponsorship deals for jersey patches and corporate logos on the field nowadays. Nothing in college football is sacred anymore. Won't be long before schools start selling their stadium naming rights.
