Villanueva is bullying Garnett by claiming on twitter that he would beat him up if they met in a boxing ring!

I can't believe the focus in this instance is on Kg's on-court trash talk and not Villanueva's laughably stupid twitter comments, or the fact that he even tattled to twitter in the first place.

All it proves is that he's mentally weak and that anybody can make a juvenile comment on the court and intimidate him or distract him from making plays.

What players have gotten over the hump themselves?

crunch time as in "time to fight" or time to play ball?

ask the Celts where they would be without Garnett. Its not a coincidence that when they got him, they suddenly became relevant.

this is so fricking stupid, i dont know where to start.

Do you think, at any point in his career in Minn, that he had a championship caliber players around him? Seriously? Especially in the frontcourt.

He couldnt get over the hump by himself. You are right. He had every reason to want out of Minnesota. That franchise is a fricking joke.

He went from playing with decent players like Terrell Bradon, Cassell, Spreewell, etc and making the playoffs, to in his last few years starting alongside Ricky Davis, Mark Blount, Trenton Hassell, and Mike James.

And he couldnt get them over the hump?? With that garbage? get a fricking clue.

They havent won more than 24 games in the 3 seasons he has been gone.

he got to the WFC once, that 's the same as Sac. his franchise was garbage and not able to get a supporting cast around him. No one gets over the hump by themselves. Did you lose respect for Kobe when he couldn't "get over the hump" after Shaq left? They didn't win again until they got Gasol.

He was a whiney bitch about it. The guy quit on the situation. Along with what Malone and Payton did at the end of their careers when they tried the dream team shite in LA, Garnett's move was pussy. And the whole deal with Russell sharing his ring. That's so little league.

"It's okay Kevin. I know you work really hard and whatnot. And because I busted arse and have a ring for each finger, we can 'share' one...you know, because you are a neat guy and whatnot."

bullshite. He crumbled in the face of adversity, so did Lebron.

What's ridiculous is a guy whining because someone trash talked him! Much worse has been said...man up and respond or ignore it. Don't tweet about it like a baby!

Agree or disagree, that's my take on Garnett. It's one thing to go to another team, it's another to recruit talent like that because you are desperate.

so its wrong to leave a hopeless franchise in search of playing for a winner and playing for championships?

you cant be serious.

That's not running from adversity.

Garnett played 12 seasons with the Wolves.

They went from playing for a conf Final to being one of the 4 worst teams in the league. In about 3 years they went from winning 58 games to winning 33. And it wasnt because KG wasnt doing his part.

Lebron is a totally different thing. He was a free agent, he has the right to do whatever the frick he wants. He didn't run from shite. Hmmmm, play with JJ Hickson and Boobie Gibson and never win shite, or DWade and Chris Bosh and compete for titles every year?

its obvious you've never played competitive sports in your life dude. Get out of here with that bullshite

The guy played in frickin MINNESOTA for 12 years with Troy Hudson and crazy arse Latrell Sprewell as his best supporting players. The TWolves should've been ecstatic he didn't leave after his rookie contract, most would've taken less money to get the hell away from that franchise and for good reason.

And say what you want about his performance in clutch situations, but there aren't many bigs who succeed at the end of games when you can't get a foul call. At least he actually had the balls to shoot, unlike a guy like Chris Webber.

Villanueva is an idiot. Whether KG crossed the line saying that or not, every time he drives the lane the rest of the year he has to worry about getting demolished.
