FSU in the playoffs is unfair

Whoever gets them first has a free pass to the NC game. They're not even a top 10 team without Travis, just a husk of themselves. Everyone knows that they lack the ability to be competitive in the playoffs. It's going to be pretty shitty for the other two schools that don't draw them.
Perhaps they're deserving, but should we be putting a team in the playoff that we know has a 0% chance of winning, when there is a clear better team available?

They are one of the best teams in the nation with a genius coach.
They are winning despite having their starting QB out.
They absolutely deserve to be in if they win tonight. Alabama got destroyed at home by Texas.

They earned their spot. Injuries are part of it. They overcame the loss of Travis to keep their undefeated season alive. If it sinks them in the end against a Michigan, so what? They won, they earned their spot, let it fall where it may in the CFP.

Am I crazy for thinking that FSU with the 2nd string QB will give Michigan a game?
Every team of the top 5 could lose to anyone in the top 13 or so.

we don't know that. Their defense is legit. They could win a slug fest with any of the teams who are presumably in. All of them have had struggle wins, and all but Michigan against bad teams. There's no truly dominant team this year

No. This defense would be teeing off on Michigan. It would absolutely be close.
