If they called a penalty for that weak little elbow Ovi was getting one for that ballerina 360 spin.

Love how the boys are on a roll right now and the pens are hanging on for dear life with 2 games left.

That's what makes me nervous. The Caps playing this well terrifies me. This is Lucy setting up the football.

Tonight's game will be big. It could be a playoff preview. I hope Daytwah just flounders and the good guys can light the lamp a few times.

I wished it was the NBCSN game instead of Chicago St Louis. But that game will be a decent game also.

The two big games, as I see them: Ottawa @ NYR and LA @ Calgary.

I hope the home teams win both. I want no part of Hammond in the playoffs, as I think and stated before, he is on a Hextal/Roy type run. Calgary needs to bury the Kings. They seem to find a way to win come playoff time, if they get in.

So did the Caps lock up home ice in the 1st round?

I just want Detroit to show up tonight and play well. I feel good about them getting into the playoffs, but they just need to show they can consistently finish games well. Which is something that has been missing the past month or two.

Not yet...if the Pens win tomorrow in regulation, then Caps are home 1st round...

Doesn't even need to be in regulation. They need to either gain 1 point or have the Isles drop 1 point, and they clinch home ice in the first series. Caps hold the tiebreaker over the Isles.

The Caps played a near perfect game last night, aside from going to far into a shell with the lead in the second period. They look like a team that will go far in the playoffs, which as all good Caps know, is a total trap. Get an axe. This is just them trying to get our hopes up before they inevitably blow a 3-1 series lead, probably to the Penguins.

But, man, even Ovie is backchecking. Look at this. He starts by the boards behind Holtby, literally the furthest person from the play, and he is the first forward back to break up the rush. That is definitely the influence of Trotz, and it gets your hopes up. Which always end badly for us.

New Year, new defense brah. Don't forget you have what would now be Pittsburgh's first pair right now in addition to last year's players

Eichel with a gift goal. The Fightin Sioux are in trouble if they can't figure out to put a man on him even on the PK

These two stats tell you how BU is a team destined to win.

The Wingers for BU (O'Reagan and Rodrigues) have 120+ pts compared to 46 last year.

And they've travelled a total of 72 miles in post season

Hockey East Tournament 4 miles from campus at TD Center
East Regional at Manchester, NH 64 miles away from campus
Frozen Four at TD Center

Hooking on Eichel hope UND can score here.

Why can't the BBR have a power play like BU or UND? These guys cycle and create shots

Hickey 1 timer from point to take 2-0 lead at 19:20

BU takes a penalty just now

End of 1
BU 2
North Dakota 0

Hope it's okay to use this thread for Frozen 4.

As Providence who beat UNO earlier has a Ben Bishop type goalie.

Well we gave the wings this game on a silver platter. Haven't seen this many turnovers in ages.

Hey d you're giving up breakaways and 2 on 1s just go sit on bench we are better off playing 5 on 3 all night because you are useless tonight.

Right as you say that shite, you almost scored at the end of the Wings PP and now get your own. Florida is up on the apes.
