Yea, that's kinda strange to have blackouts when fans can't attend the games.

No problem. Just call your local cable or satellite provider and tell them to add on the Sports+ bundle for only $32.99 a month! This is 1998 after all.

MLB blackouts have nothing to do with fan attendance. They want locals to watch on the cable channels that a lot of the MLB teams own or have contracts with, so they blackout streaming in those markets. The problem is that their blackout markets overreach into areas that don't have cable access as well, leaving those fans no way to legally watch the games.

I'm probably about to pay 60 bucks a month for FuboTV JUST to watch the Astros cause I just want to watch some damn sports that bad.

The only other ways I could legally watch where I live is Direct TV or Uverse and I ain't doing that shite. It's beyond archaic at this point.

Reddit MLB streams baw. They're typically pretty reliable and don't cost you $60 a month.

I believe Fubo is adding ESPN networks at the end of the month. It’s a pretty good option to replace cable if all you watch is sports
