To be fair, Red Bull requested the red flag, but that may be more to call the tires into question.

They also just showed how good Stolls tire looked and Red Bull has said they have zero data indicating a warning prior to failure, again, this is on Perelli, not the teams. That’s a straight up tire failure.

If I read it right.
Verstappen wrecked at the beginning of lap 46 or 47.
Even if there was one safety lap, verstappen got overtaken on 47 or 48.
Race tracker says we are on lap 49.

Silverstone 2013 (maybe 2017, reversed pirelli's) had the same scenario for Merc if you want to see their reaction.
Red Bull doesn't benefit from a red flag. Cant see a strategical advantage why they would call for one.

it's a super long track so im not getting hung up on only 2 laps. so many places for overtake
