It’s a bucket list item for me absolutely. Even when I wasn’t into F1 it just looks like an unreal time.

I think the fashion show is also on Friday. All the young drivers are "encouraged" to participate.

Not sure if Russell or Leclerc could dress any more like their personalities

You're right, Leclerc looks like he's heading straight to a yacht.

And Ericsson has the Swedish James Bond look going.

Too bad Kimi can't be made to participate, he'd still have on his overalls. "Bwah.. well I have to put them on tomorrow so why take them off"

LINK

Speaking of Kimi if you haven't seen the video of the drivers explaining their choice of numbers, his explanation alone is worth watching.

All the drivers - My number means so much to me
Kimi - We had to choose so I chose

He literally was #7 the year before and just kept it.

I dont know how Monaco is not a bucket list for any person.

A meme last year was "I'm going to have to miss Monaco this year because of covid. Normally I miss because I can't afford it, this year it is covid."

I have been told something like $10k is a good budget for the Wednesday-Sun/Mon.

A Finnish friend apparently has a yacht connection for Monaco weekend. He said it will cost me a lot for a spot, but it is a once in a lifetime thing to party with Finns in Monaco.

Apparently for the European races there are companies who specialize in all inclusive group weekend packages for the races.

If you’re in Europe you should go

I seriously suggested to Ms. DS that if we get married I want our honeymoon to be the Monaco GP

My wife, kids and I planned a European vacation to celebrate their graduations from Hs and college, but COVID killed it. We were supposed to be in Monaco just a few days after the race. As much as it would have been cool to plan to be there for it, I don’t think it’s worth the money for a family of four who doesn’t have F you money!

I priced up the trip yesterday while watching practice and 10k is what I came up with. probably closer to 1200 if you gamble and I'm sure dining is outrageous.

You can request ticket information, so I did that yesterday. To my surprise someone reached out via e-mail. I was expecting an automated message.

I like Austria. Just pass out different tire compounds for the second week and we're good to go.

Maybe it’s me but I don’t find $10k to be outrageous for that experience. It would be amazing. That and Singapore are the two I’d most like to attend.

Some crazy FP3 times. Daniel, a former winner, is 1 sec slower than Lando. Mick, despite crashing his Haas, was faster than Alonso! Hamilton was only P7 and Ferrari appears to be a serious contender for pole!
