Last year Danny was beating Norris 9 times out of 17, scoring more points and getting more podiums in shitty Renault.

Give him some time. He said afterward he’s still has muscle memory of the Renault he has to work out. He just has to keep driving. It being wet probably exacerbated the feeling. He essentially said by race seven I’ll probably look back and laugh at myself in this race.

Only the 2nd race, but Sainz, Ricardo, Perez and Alonso are getting beat by their teammates.

The Renault of last year were more competitive than Alpines so far. Danny made the right move. 7th and 6th.

So far the year has been great to watch. Max vs Ham has delivered.
Then Norris, Perez, the 2 Ferraris, and Bottas battle for 3rd. Norris's defense against Ham was great driving, too bad his knee was hitting a shifter.
LOL at Mazespin

Sainz could have done better, he seemed to really struggle in the wet condidtions.

Ive been impressed so far with Ferrari and Mclaren.

Alfa Romeo is actually a little competitive in the midfield.

Maybe I am alone, but aside from hamilton and mazepin all of the drivers on the grid are likeable guys. Kinda rooting for all of them.

Not a fan of kimi, but other than that. It’s easy to root for the entire field.

A world where Ocon is more likeable than Hamilton.

Read his book last year and it puts his life into some perspective. The image fans have given him versus his reality now.

Mercedes running a Pirelli test today with next years 18" wheels.

Granted, car and wheels won't look anything like next years. Think they have some sort of wheel covers/hubcaps next year anyway.

It is easier for you to root for Mazepin than for Kimi? That is absurd.

Most people won't care; but here is a 15 minute or so detail of how F1 makes it to you via broadcast.

Wendover via Youtube

The guy who runs this channel is a huge F1 fan and has done multiple videos dedicated to the subject. Will link more if anyone wants to see more about his F1 input, logistics and technology stuff.

That long straight could have two separate DRS zones.

I've been skipping that video because I didn't realize it was about F1 live TV.

Real Engineering has a couple of videos on F1 cars I think and I think you'd really enjoy em.

Have definitely seen those. Both are pretty big F1 fans and due to youtube have become IRL friends.
