Honestly red bull should have been 2/3 today. The safety car gift for VB was the difference.

He’s lucky that there was sprint race this weekend. That helped him after the disqualification. He has that happen on Saturday, then he’s gotta go 20 to 1 on Sunday. He probably ends P2 like Max did when he had that happen.

Hamilton great drive but the dude is literally in a car 1 second faster per lap than everyone else. Not sure what red bull is gonna do these last 3 races but I think they are in some real trouble.

Either red bull really fricked up the setup this weekend or Mercedes took a huge risk with the engine setup and may have to pay the price with engine degradation in the last three races.

Car design, setups and driver familiarity all come into play. Doesn’t mean it will carry over.

Absolutely no one believes Bottas would have made up 25 places in a Merc.
The number of drivers, in history, capable of doing what we saw this weeked is extremely limited.
Probably the biggest frick up from Merc of the season if there were loose bolts followed by one of the most impressive weekends for setup and strategy we have seen.

I’ve seen Schumacher do it once in Belgium back in 95. Started 16th and won the race. That was rain assisted though which changes so many things.

2018 Germany was rain adjusted as well, Hamilton started 14 and ended up 1st.
That was a great race. Ham not penalized for the pit lane, Vettel in the barriers, Bottas driving like a mad man.
