Unconfirmed reports that he died from a fall at his home.

Man, this is sad. Stacey was often the most entertaining thing about watching the Bulls. Everyone loved that guy.

Lost to Danny and the miracles in the title game. Oklahoma was loaded, King, Harvey Grant (Horace’s twin) and Mookie Blaylock. They averaged over 100ppg.

He had some great calls with the Bulls. A personality that will never be replaced.
Fall at his house? Unless he fell off a roof I have trouble imagining a 59 year old man dying from falling down in his house.

Michaela Shiffrin’s dad was a doctor and died the same way. I think he was trying to fix something on his roof.
I wouldn’t be surprised if King was doing something similar.
Honestly, Shiffrin’s dad’s accident is more surprising since Stacy King was a big guy.
ETA: I believe DeMaryius Thomas fell and hit his head while having a seizure in the shower, and that led to his death. This one is obviously more complicated than the other example.

Pretty sure I’ve read somewhere that people falling and hitting their heads is a surprisingly common cause of death, even for the non elderly.
