Sounds like he may have some mental health problems. It’s a rough world out there

Damn, RIP. He was a good RB. Seems like he went a bit mad — very sad.

Damn, those mid-2010s Bucs teams had both Doug Martin and Vincent Jackson as stars and both died in their 30s

According to local outlet, KTVU, Martin, 36, was allegedly arrested after police officers responded to reports of a possible break-in around Oct. 17 at 4:15 a.m. at a home on the 11000 block of Ettrick Street, in a neighborhood in Oakland, CA.

Reads like Martin broke into a 75 year old man's house and was shot.

Yeah, the break in and medical emergency happening "simultaneously" definitely leans towards him getting shot by the owner the second he broke in.

I think it was the police that shot him, since they were placed on leave as part of the dept. policy

Reports are indicating he was arrested and in police custody, then he suffered a medical episode and seizure.
