Scottie Pippen. He should be counting his blessings at the fact that there was virtually no internet or social media when he decided not to play during closing seconds of that playoff game in '94. Imagine a current superstar pulling that now.

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and his surly attitude

Michael Jordan.

Imagine the betting and getting his father killed backlash today.

MJ. The gambling stuff. Leaving the game for 2 years. Not winning a championship until his late 20s.

Namath... Not even close. He'd be Manziel 2.0. They'd probably call him an alcoholic and a disgrace.

I would have loved to see Dennis Rodman during the social media era of sports. Lenny Dykstra would've been crazy with all the shite he did. It would be really interesting to see how different some teams would be seen in today's social media world. Some of those Miami Hurricanes teams would be crazy to imagine in today's world.

I only said him as a joke but he used to beat his first wife when he was a player so in this day and age he wouldn't be a megastar.

Babe Ruth. A drinker during Prohibition, a womanizer, and a locker room cancer.

He was popular because he loved the fans and got along well with sportswriters.

A lot of the old Yankees like Ruth and Mantle would have been heavily criticized. You can probably add Joe DiMaggio. He was so moody and introverted. Reggie Jackson too. His ego was too big to avoid scrutiny.
