Speaking of Josh Iness, I remember that dude tried to take a shot at Jimmy Ott one time and couldn't stop laughing at himself. Someone called in and was like "Jimmy, how much should I bet on Florida State" and Josh was like "at least 10 grand" and then couldn't stop laughing. It sounded like he staged the call, but it was just a horrible attempt at trying to be funny, but was there a reason Josh use to take shots at the other host from time to time?

What 1210's management did with a decision that had to be in the works for months is crappy at best!
It was NOT 1210. It was clear channel. and Songy,Ott,and Jordy PAID to be on the air. Its NOT like they were employees of the station. Could they gave thenm more notice?? Sure. But that biz is cutthroat. They knew this going in.[The hosts that is]

What a lot of us are forgetting is that MOST people get at least a 2 week notice when their job is being terminated so they can make other arrangements.
I disagree. MOST people don't get a 2 week notice when they're being fired. It's just common for people to give their employer a 2 week notice.
(Especially salesmen or other people who have inside knowledge and you don't want them stealing other secrets on their way out)
A little difference here, the guy being fired has a microphone on your own airwaves.
Who really knows the fine print of their contract? Probably a legal issue with the 12:01 notice.... my guess....

And Rag... to answer your question, Kevin and Clay were both on this morning on 1150.
Sounded like their board op was getting hammered with questions and comments from those missing Jordy...

To be honest and as said before. Clear channel could care less about Songy, Ott Or Jordy. They are a pimple on their arse.

I don't doubt that too.

Several people on this thread question why some of us care, with the access to the internet (and even this site), satellite radio, etc.
Some of us don't sit at a desk for living, so when we're driving around its easier (and distracting) to listen to the radio and as you can tell in this thread... there have been good callers over the years that we enjoy hearing... and sometimes even the hosts are good...
Just like most of us, the hosts could've done a better job... and maybe they will in their new ventures... but they have provided some entertainment for a lot of us along the way... and often some good information that I might not have read elsewhere....
good luck to those gentlemen.
ETA: and I like being reminded how good the Tigers are!
