outside of Andre Moreau, Donna Britt, George Sells, and Michael Marsh, there isn't a whole lot of money in on air jobs in TV and radio in BR ... Everyone is too easily replaceable ... there's an endless supply of people waiting to take your job ..

Don't forget lots of trade and freebies. That can make up a nice piece of income. All that goes out the window if you become an employee somewhere.

Usually when guys get busted for that they usually aren't out of the game for very long. I can name several in big ones in BR right off the top of my head.

yeah .. him too .. and jay grimes ... but as soon as sells retires and then britt and onward .. you won't see them being replaced by major, high dollar talent ..

It was probably Jordy's love of sports that kept him from keeping up with anything in the world of sports for his show.
The best part of Jordy's show is he can get good guests because of his tie-ins, kind of like a local Mike and Mike.

agreed. I wonder how much Whitney pulls in???? BTW I used to see Mike Graham at the Old Hammond Albertsons at the bank and he was always pullin out a wad of 100's. I doubt Diane Deaton can do that.

people think since these guys are on the radio that they must be rich....but most of your local "talent" makes very little money and a majority of their compensation comes from ad sales. they are supposed to use their "influence" to sell advertising space and make money in that way

Yeah I had to LOL at that remark. Other than the softball interviews with his IRL lsu buddies, Jordy really brings nothing to the table.

i haven't listened to jordy in years .. when he was on channel 2 years ago and would basically fashion his sportscasts as cheap espn sportscenter knockoffs, that told me all i needed to know about hultberg as a broadcaster .. he would do the same shite with the hornets on cox too .. i listened to him once on WSKR and could see the cheese oozing from my speakers ... but he did have a classic sullivan's moment years ago ..
