I was in Tuscaloosa for this game. Never will forget being at GameDay and a group of 20+ guys dressed as LSU pimps crashed the set with a trumpet. It was great.

Alabama had LSU 10-0 but had zero playmakers without Prothro. Surprised LSU didn't beat us by more but that 2005 defense was damn strong with Ryans, Harper and Gilberry.

I know you were joking, but has that ever existed before. I doubt it, but I'm asking because I'm extremely bored.

Not officially but a remember a couple of teams during the 2000s that would bring in a younger guy to throw at the end. That team usually had Chad Pennington starting for them

JRuss did this once or twice while he was second string behind Daunte Culpepper

There was a guy dressed as one of their hoes w a wig in a bikini w high heels and wearing a pageant banner that said Miss Alabama

Saw him on the concourse at the half down 10-0, smoking a cig

He said in all seriousness, “We better come back and win this thing!”

LMAO just thinking about it

And yeah, the flyover was definitely below the hard deck

Forgot about this one. Is Alabama LSU clearly the biggest matchup of this century?

From the Ole Miss game onward the defense was the biggest reason for us winning games. Prothro went down against Florida and our offense was anemic from then on. Just look at these scores after the fact:

Ole Miss (W) 13-10
Tennessee (W) 6-3
Utah State (W) 35-3
Mississippi State (W) 17-0
LSU (L) 13-16
Auburn (L) 18-28
Texas Tech (W) 13-10

I'm almost 100% sure we did not score an offensive touchdown against Mississippi State. Our scores were a field goal, pick six, and then a fumble returned for a TD on the resulting kickoff.
