There's way, way more Niners than Rams fans in LA. Probably three or four times as many Raiders fans as well.

Would be even worse for the Chargers

Question: Has this ever happened to USC football? People talk about the lack of support at times for USC football but I don't ever recall the visiting school's fan base taking over The Coliseum during a USC home game.

Lol at the NFL for not making the Raiders the anchor of Los Angeles because of their decades old grudge with Al Davis. The Death Star was lit last night. Not many San Diego fans there.

Not that I can remember. There's no school in close proximity with a large enough fanbase.

I get it happening to the chargers but the rams kinda surprises me. Was the fan support that bad before the move to STL?

Why does the NFL keep trying to make football in LA happen? Do they get good tv ratings in LA? They sure don’t get the fans to the games.

The Rams were gone from LA for a long time. It’s a joke that there’s 2 teams there, I don’t care how big the city is. Feel bad for St. Louis and San Diego fans.

The two LA teams are 8th and 10th in attendance and boxes at SoFi for the year are selling at ungodly prices. They are cleaning up.

The question is what happens once SoFi itself isn't the draw

Because no school within 1500 miles has enough fans to do it.

Cowboys and Raiders are going to be at Sofi next season, so expect more topics on this...

It’s the 2nd largest city. A 10% share in LA is greater than a 50% share in Kansas City or Cincinnati

Definitely not UCLA, they had to give away tickets so LSU fans wouldn't take over the stadium

I guess the league doesn’t care it a large portion of the butts in the seats are opposing fans. But that’s good info to see, I guess they are doing fine with butts in the seats.

I won't miss a chance to crap on LA... so far their weird desire to have two teams there resulted in the No Call Game followed by the Rams stinking up the Super Bowl, likely a billion dollar lawsuit loss / settlement due to the obnoxious Rams owner, and ratings that can't be great.

Having said that... 49ers still have a bit of a national following, and they travel well, especially for a relatively easy trip to LA.
