It’s bad, calls the integrity of the game into question. The NCAA has to figure this out, incompetence in every conference in multiple games every weekend
It isn’t as if people will stop watching though.

Why would the NCAA or any of the media outlets care?

Holding was terrible. Don’t think it was a TD the second time though.

You don’t. It’s unfathomable that you call a holding on the line of scrimmage there.

Double-teamed then fell down. He never was a factor in the play, but got a holding call that won the game.

Yep. He was tired, fell and got up not even looking for a flag and the flag came from way deep. Horrible to take game out of the playes hands

It was a terrible call but the flag came out during the play. Not after he caught it.

“Defender is clearly possessing the ball, does everyone agree?”

Bro, we’re watching the same replay and none of those show the defender possessing the ball. In fact his arms are fully extended below his waist which shows he’s not possessing it in his mid section like yall state on the broadcast.

This is what’s insane. It’s like we’re not watching the same thing. If they want to say it’s too inconclusive, I get it. They still jobbed them on the holding call, but how definitive they were that the Miami player had it was sketch AF

Wild they had to play the review audio so they could create the narrative.

Some serious gaslighting by the ref leading the review: DOES EVERYONE AGREE? DOES EVERYONE AGREE? DOES EVERYONE AGREE?

Sounded like he would have bitten the head off the firstborn of anyone who would dare to disagree with him.

Yea you can see the Miami guys hands come off the ball multiple times. The FSU never lets go.

FSU loses in both situations.

They catch the TD, play is nullified.

They don’t catch the TD, game is over.

The refs had nothing to lose.

The replay official said "we got a body part". Yeah, let's just make it up as we go to protect our only playoff team. Wheeeeee!!!!

He was clearly possessing the ball in the air and was clearly not possessing it on the ground. Not sure about when his feet came down. That was hard to see.

Exactly, if refs had called TD on field it would have had to stand based on the way replay was rushing it and only trying to confirm what was called

To be fair, the ACC has always broadcast the replay booth.

But it's never sounded like a moon landing.

The audio of the reviews being public is the worst thing ever for refs. One person going in with a conclusion and confirmation bias so his colleagues don't look like the morons they are.
