How can you have a twin in the nba and not know he's gay.

I imagine even the shittiest nba player has nba sluts hanging on them at every corner.

This.

I don't see why what a professional athlete does in his bedroom is any thing we should care about.

Dude was teammates with Dick Jefferson when he first came into the league. He also lived in Atlanta (the undisputed gay black capital of the world) for a couple years. The writing was on the wall....

Yes, because of the level of homophobia in the black community.

It's not nearly as bad anymore since gays started linking their struggles to minorities, and since our African-American president is leading the charge for gay rights.

Well, society has forced their hand. We treat them different both legally and socially.

Especially in the African American community, where being homosexual is....well....complicated.

Also, in sports, we always say a particular sport is a "man's" sport, and we expect "men" to behave a certain way.

I applaud what Jason is doing.

Did you know that Jackson, MS is in the top 10 for cities where the most gay black men live together?

Tebow was going to get around to it now that he'd have more free time. Smart move.

I get your point.

But it's almost like coming out like this is to get a reaction. Just be who you are and people will know what your sexual preference is.

Its not all, "Hey look at me"

Don't get me wrong I completely agree. I just hate that society has made this into a thing. My point is I couldn't give 2 shits what anyone does in the bedroom. It's none of my business and shouldn't be the government's business.

I just think it is a more of a publicity stunt now though just because of where he is at this stage of his career.

You can't logically reason out why this might be a big deal?
