Agree. The play calling was too pass happy right after the Bengals went up with 20 points. That was the time to try and establish the run. Then he finally started calling run plays after Joe tweaked his knee and it worked. But it was too late. If he establishes the run a litte earlier then the play action works a little better for Joe.

How about the drive before that. Burrows been getting sacked for an entire quarter cause he refused to run the ball so finally he lines up big gets a first down then goes right back to the gun and goes nowhere again.

They get a TD on the first play of the second half off of play action then never run it again. Instead he goes shotgun, lets the Rams pin their ears back until they hurt Burrow before he even attempts the run game again. And does all this with the lead in the second half. Unforgivable

It’s been so frustrating watching the Bengals all season and seeing so many people praise Zac Taylor. Their short yardage and redzone play calls are horrendous and feel like he doesn’t design plays specifically for Chase like McVay does for Kupp.
Everyone will be talking about the Oline and deservedly so but man their play calls are hot garbage a lot of the time in those situations.

That was actually a pretty well-called game offensively. Still not sure why Mixon was MIA on that final drive ... very questionable to still hand the ball to Perine on that 3rd down. I'm thinking that Burrow's knee may have been hurting more than he'll ever tell us so they were trying to get the ground yards before asking him to plant and throw again.

The guy almost fricked up trying to tank for the #1 overall pick. He benched Dalton so they could lose, they did lose then he decides to put Dalton back in and try to win games. It was one of the most bizarre things I’d ever seen, he’s a clown.

I understand having Perine in because they got their screen game working the previous 2 games but he didn’t do anything on the ground. That’s why I thought he was in on that drive.
