Clay - Liston 1, round 1 is my favorite round. Just absolute mastery of another man.

Favorite one to rewatch is Marciano - Walcott. Jersey Joe put on an absolute master class of boxing that was erased by the best right hand ever thrown.

What was the main difference in personality between Smokin Joe and Ali? Obviously Ali was more of a personality. At the time what were the public’s attitudes towards each?

Ali treated Joe like a piece of shite, which was pretty disgusting after all Joe did supporting him when Ali was stripped of his title. He successfully turned black Americans against Joe implying that he was the white man's champion.

Rocky vs Apollo II
Ali vs Frazier III

In like 2 minutes.

I grew up watching Tyson destroy the heavyweight division and I have to say watching him brutalize guys was pretty good stuff. He basically beat most guys before he even got in the ring but my favorite era was after he left for prison when Bowe, Holyfield, Tua, Moorer, Foreman, and Lewis all stepped up to the plate.

I will always be a Foreman fan since I lived not far from him for a while and knew him personally from having family in the boxing game and also knowing how religious he is. So, put Foreman-Moorer as my favorite with Foreman-Holyfield as my 2nd.

Not a huge fight but Michael Moorer - Bert Cooper was a classic. Both men down in first round.

The FOTC, aka Ali-Frazier 1.

Both men nearest to their primes in that one, both undefeated, massive world-wide interest.

Ali-Frazier 2 and 3 were very good, especially 3, but to a non-biased observer they don't match the first fight in quality.

Frazier clearly went down hill after the monumental first fight. It figures, as swarming fighters who take damage to give damage, generally have shorter primes than the boxer types.
