Those were the last points scored by a Big 10 team in a CFP semifinal game.

Well, OSU hung another 42 on Oregon for the Natty game.

But you have a good point. Ohio St won that Natty on an accidental passing game. There was no plan to use Cardale Jones.

When Clemson shut out OSU in the '16/'17 semifinal, it became clear that OSU had no passing attack against elite defenses. So the retooling began. Pretty much like LSU.

SEC speed is more about the speed on the defensive front 7. Anyone with any knowledge of college football knows this. It's about team speed, not a couple of individual offensive skill players.

Even still, Ohio State might have the first defensive lineman taken in the draft this year in Nick Bosa. His brother Joey Bosas has done pretty well in the NFL no? Also, NOBODY has put more 1st round DB's in the NFL the last 5 years than Ohio State. So what are we talking about again?

Why Ohio state isn't winning anything with all the best talent at all the best spots.

Played at Mayfield high. So the two fastest 40 times were kids from the Celevland metro.

Good then.So why does OSU recruit still recruit Florida,GA and Texas so heavily?

Sounds like you got all the speed you need in your home state.

Now that he's been outed he's trying to pretend he's not Ree and an actual Ohio State fan.

Solid strategy.....before you get caught.

Unfortunately, we all know the real reason why Isabella wasn't heavily recruited.

Why does Alabama recruit kids from California and New Jersey?

Because certain schools have a brand that can recruit nationally. If they have that advantage, then why wouldn't they use it? Also realize that a lot of these kids have Ohio ties. The Bosas, Garrett Wison, the Gee kid from Washington, etc.

Times have changed...

Will be interesting to see if Ohio State continues to recruit at a high level. Definitely a ton of talent came through those OSU teams the past five years.

This year was a small class. 2020 class looks to be loaded. There's a lot of talent in Ohio. If they continue to win at or near the level they have I think that top 5 classes will continue.

This is not to argue anything you're going for ITT, but it blows my mind that a 260lb DL from MSU would be the 8th fastest receiver in the combine.

Ban bet an alter that he's not an alter? No thanks. When you're gone you'll just create another handle.

Dixon must have heavy bones. LOL
[and Dixon was probably the fastest OSU WR before his knee injury. He can still hit 5th gear for a few steps when he needs it]
