Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers in 2008 was solid. Only people who can sing without audio equipment and routinely play large stadiums should do the Super Bowl.

I'm too lazy to chekc but I bet there is a thread just like this every single year TD has been around and I bet its also filled with upvotes.
Really the thing that has driven me crazy the last few years with SB shows is they spend all this money to have a shitload of dancers, props, and electronic stages yet damn near all the TV shots are close ups of the band playing. WTF is the point of having all that other shite if they are barely going to show it?

Well I liked it. Once Bruno started (and I like Coldplay) it became a much better show and the collaborations were well done.

I think most of us can agree, outside of a couple outstanding performances in the last decade or so, the Super Bowl halftime show hasn't exactly been great lately.
And we can blame it all on a wardrobe malfunction making the creators a bunch of pussies.
