Talk about ruining your legacy. It's hard to believe this is the same guy who led that amazing comeback over Tampa on TNF earlier this year. What a horrible ending to Kirk's career.
Cousins has 9 INT’s and only 1 TD over the last five games. No choice but to switch things up.

A full third of the shite league are tanking. What a disgrace it has become.
Moving to the QB you just drafted over the vet you paid too much for isn't a tanking move. However, as a Saints fan, it will probably completely ruin Penix so it's cool with me.

They run it 50 times while throwing it 16 and blame the QB?
In his last 5 games he has ONE touchdown and NINE interceptions. He started the year strong but he's been arse lately

if the change makes him have a hell of a game, would it cause other teams to have Penix envy?

at WAS
Penix should have a big game against NYG, but I'm worried going to WAS in December may make him shrink under pressure.

Spencer Rattler diced up the skins which gives me cause for concern

Why do you think they're only allowing Cousins to throw 16 times?
The Falcons had 26 first down opportunities Monday night. They ran the ball 25 times. No play action or anything. Either he's hurt(arm issues) or he's mentally lost it. It's incredible how he was playing like he was just a month or so ago and has just completely lost it in the last few games.

Kirk's legacy will be that he was a decent QB who made an astronomical amount of money. He got 100 million guaranteed on this falcons contract. Bravo Kirk. He played the financial game as well as any QB ever
I agree, but he had some of the best singular QB games of each season recently. This season TNF against Atlanta, last season the MNF against SF, two seasons ago that comeback against Indy. He played entire seasons as a top 5 QB (ratings wise) while with Vikings. Beating Brees and the Saints in playoffs the year before that. He's kind of like Matt Ryan without the MVP and SB appearance
This season just absolutely fell off a cliff. Wouldn't be surprised to hear that he's been playing through a shoulder or oblique.

Falcons want to get a look at him be foreskins game. If he balls out vs NYG they’ll feel more confident playing that hand.
He’s not cocky, has a good head on his shoulders. They’ll probably focus on intermediate passing game, see if he can get it into the tight end, drop it to the tailback. I expect he’ll do well and grow with the ball in his hands.
Premature to erect a statue of him just yet, we’ll see what comes. Cousins will know soon enough if he’s blown his job as Atlanta’s QB.

Michael Penix Jr. is the type of black man that you don't see much in pro sports anymore. He's a throwback to Rip Hamilton and Tyrone Braxton. None of this "articulate pretty boy who talks white, dresses white, and bangs Instagram thots" nonsense. Dude just wants to rock his silk do rags, raise a large black family, and ball.

About to see which move was worse for the falcons, signing Cousins to that ridiculous contract or drafting Penix in the 1st round.
