Well, here is the deal to me...it’s laughable that we still get so bent out of shape over genetic phenotypes. I found out last year that my mom is 8-10% Nigerian (or something along those lines) through the 23 & Me, or some similar test. I appear totally white, but genetically have a not insignificant African genetic make-up.
I have and always will identify as a dude that is trying to get by in this world, raise my family and treat people like I want to be treating (and believe we are all made in God’s image).
From any perspective, I now question the emotional intelligence of anyone that gets wrapped around the axle about race.

I'll tell you what.
Go ask Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas or world renowned neurosurgeon and and current United States Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Ben Carson how they have been celebrated.
You know, when you don't tow the line laid down by the SJWs. Your accomplishments are not only not celebrated, but outright scorned.
The media and SJWs fawn all over fools like Wilder. Then mock and denigrate truly great men like Carson and Thomas. The names, slurs, and character assassinations these men have endured from racists of all colors and 'woke' people is beyond despicable. Neither man has ever sought to make their outstanding accomplishments about their race. Therein lies the problem the media and SJWs have with them.
I witnessed Dr. Ben Carson being denigrated in the OT Lounge this morning. Lumped in with what was termed "the worst". Why? His religious faith didn't match their beliefs.
You might need to ask yourself. Why is skin color so important to you?

I know Deontay is getting flack for the black themed entrance but I don’t feel the man is racist at all. I think he was honoring his heritage but I can see why it rubbed people the wrong way.
I’ve met Deontay several times and trained in his gym. Off camera the guy is humble and a class act. Every time we talked it was always yes sir or no sir and thank you. He goes out of the way to make time for his fans both black and white. I am friends with his trainer Jay Deas and I can tell you him and Deontay have a very deep friendship and have a lot of love for each other. Jay is whiter than I am. If Wilder was racist he wouldn’t hold Jay in such high esteem.
I hope Wilder is ok and learns from this. I hope he trains hard, works on his footwork and jabs and becomes a more complete boxer. He has the hardest power punch in boxing but with someone so technically gifted as Fury that won’t work. Fury knows Wilder is chambering up for a huge punch, sees it and can counter. Fury baited him big time to throw it and then unloaded on Wilder. Wilder had an opportunity to stun Fury but didn’t see it. When Fury threw the body shot that knocked Wilder down Fury had completely dropped his guard and was absolutely exposed. If Wilder has not been looking for a knock out shot all the time he could have backed up Fury with a jab and that body shot wouldn’t have happened. Fury is too damn good just to try and use one shot on. Hopefully Wilder gets better and becomes a champion again

What's even more insane about you not getting this concept is that you are from the south. I know the hillbillies of TN can be a little disconnected, but god damn dude you are beyond lost..
African Americans have their own history and culture that was born out slavery, segregation, and institutionalized racial oppression.
Other Americans may have a distinct history and culture, but it is not strictly defined by their "whiteness".
Also, since you have clearly outed yourself as a borderline racist in this thread, I bet you think "southern" things like BBQ, country music, etc. are part of "white" culture too, huh? Do you actually want to know the roots of southern music? Do you think you can handle the truth?
