That’s assuming someone from that era is still with the franchise

The Clippers are a loser franchise, bottom line.

I’m no Paul fan but damn… he’s trying to change perennial losers and inject life into a franchise that’s been bounced 3 straight years in round 1, while they just want to collect a check.

I will freely admit I am not the biggest Chris Paul fan. Having said that, the Clippers seem to be in the wrong. It seems like he was trying to help the team actually be a team and get better! If the reserves are routinely beating the starters in practice guess what? The starters shouldn't be starting! Also, if he is making the reserves better, he should be playing more minutes! I don't care if he is 80, if he makes them better and he is actually contributing, he needs to play! Maybe that would spark some of the other guys to actually want to play hard and actually start trying harder! This current version of the NBA seems to be mirrored very nicely in this article. They want to make their money and not have to put in the time to actually provide a good product for those that are paying them that money! Chris Paul is more of an old-school player that believes that hard work is what makes you better! It appears that he was on an island with that belief!
This is pretty much how I feel about this. I can't stand Chris Paul. But dude is an experienced veteran with a skill set that the clippers knew about and obviously wanted. They knew what they were getting, it's stupid on their side to get all in their feelings when Chris Paul does what he's been doing his entire career.

I don't love or hate him, but he's never been a lazy player and all the hate towards him tends to not point to specifics.
I think he's a pretty devout Christian, married to one woman forever and has kept his nose pretty clean off the court, so the dislike has never set well with me.
Everything posted there makes me think that the Clippers are a loser organization and didn't like Paul trying to be an elder statesman and boost morale.
Bring back Sterling.

I'm still amazed Paul had as much success as he did during his unsurprisingly short stint in Houston with Harden.

Anybody saying the Clippers are the ones with the problem here, missed the part where 3 people showed up to Paul’s party. It’s pretty clear if you read the entire story that nobody liked him, and he’s a total arse. Everybody in the organization is glad he’s gone. Sounds like Chris doesn’t play well with others.

Anybody saying the clippers are not the problem here is placing a whole lot of undeserving faith in a 6-20 team.
