Nobody programs decent shows on Monday so as not to compete with MNF.

I'd like to see TNF numbers.

Bet they are down if that's even possible.

TNF has great games this year. MNF had much better games than years past.

They really fricked the later afternoon slot in favor of primetime this year

Maybe I’m wrong but, to me, TNF is a better production and the games were generally better

The production may be the worst of the NFL broadcasts, but it isn't bad enough to impact ratings. Even the message board posters like myself who rant and rave about Booger or Tessitore still watch the dang game. The match ups are what matters, and ESPN had significantly better games this season. This is why ESPN won't cave and change the crew up, because it doesn't matter.

Fox was openly admitting in their promos that the games were going to be better this year, it was their main selling point. Question is, with the NFL starting to distribute the match ups evenly through the week, will Sunday's begin to suffer?

They had some great games this year. That matters way more than who’s in the booth.

FOX is pretty good

At the first the matchups didn't seem exciting, but they turned out great(although that's always a tossup)

Plus, having Troy and Buck do the game help too

NFL taking advantage of a non tumultuous season and the NBA product becoming more about ESPN drama than the game itself, which Silver apparently enjoys because it’s year round headlines.

I am going to guess a large part of this has to do with MNF actually having some entertaining matchups.

And yet, there's this:

According to Austin Karp of SportsBusiness Journal, the 5.4 rating came in five percent lower than the previous record low for the prime-time Monday package.
