PAC 12 has become a conference that prioritizes social justice over everything. I wouldn’t want to be a coach on any of those campuses. The environments must be a nightmare.

He’s 64, he probably doesn’t want to rebuild a program

Lot of dust on them banners. Even Harrick's is older than anybody playing college basketball. It's just a random job now.

Mismanagement at the top. The SEC made fixing basketball a priority a few years ago and it paid off. It starts at the top.

yes. just a random job that allowed steve alford to recruit at very high level and make three sweet 16s

its a job that is still very easy to win at. ben howland made it to three final fours in a row. steve lavin got to the second weekend of the tournament a bunch of times. you can still recruit at a high level, literally alford just did this, you just have to have base level of competency

ding ding ding. guerrero is the worst AD in the country when it comes to coaching searches. and the admissions scandal has tied the search committees hand behind their backs

You can recruit at a high level lots of places if you're willing to play the game.

If UCLA is poor why do they pay for 50% more sports programs than any SEC school?

Why do they have 116 National Championships?

Arkansas has the most in the SEC with 44 for comparison.

UCLA fired a coach who had an almost .700 career win pecentage over a decade and never finished in the bottom half of the Pac 12 outside of his first year. The next coach was fired 10 games into the season after being brought back to coach another year. Who would want to touch that program right now?

You’re on an LSU website and have the audacity to say this?

Raise you hand if UCLA offered you the BB coaching job.

Honestly the west coast is dying in a lot of ways. It's ungodly expensive to live there, there's fires, there's no water. It's going to eventually explode and fall into the ocean, but only if the liberals dont destroy it first. California is a massive shite hole. They only thing they had left was USC football and now that's gone. It was a cool place to be 20 years ago but now even baton rouge is a more desirable place to live.

This is precious coming from a Nebraska fan. Frank Solich fired after winning 10 games. Bo Pelini fired after winning 9. I understand the Pelini firing, but Nebraska hasn't been very patient since TO retired. Hope you give Frost more rope to work with.
