Rank these rivalries in order
1. Rafael Nadal vs Roger Federer
2. Kobe vs Lebron
3. Ovechkin vs Crosby
4. Tiger Woods vs Phil Mickelson

1) ALWAYS a great match, even if you don't like tennis they are a real treat to watch.
2) I don't get the rivalry talk between these two. Aside from being rivals for best player in the NBA there isn't really much head to head play here.
3) Generally pretty fun to watch even if you don't like hockey that much. Only thing that keeps them below Nadal/Federer in my book is the fact that hockey is a team sport. The one on one match ups always are better in my opinion.
4) Don't really match up enough, even though it is generally pretty good when they do.
My vote goes to Nadal/Federer.

There's no rivalry here. They play twice a year and it isn't that heated. I"m not sure Kobe even guards bron the whole game.

The only real rivalry from the list is #1. I don't even think the others are in the same league. #2 doesn't exist. Tiger dominates the tour so I would say #4 is a stretch. I have never seen a whole game with #3, but I don't understand how you have a rivalry between two players in hockey.

As a tennis player I probably appreciate the Fed/Rafa rivalry a little more than most. They know just how to exploit each other's weaknesses, but when they play each other those weaknesses turn into power shots. fascinating stuff

1 and 4 with Nadal/Federer being the best.
2 and 3 are team sports so they should immediately be thrown out.

I could see a rivalry between two players in basketball, but Kobe and Lebron are not rivals.

Jordan vs. the Pistons of the "Jordan Rules" era was a rivalry.
James vs. Bryant? From what I understand they are good friends off the court. Jordan and the Pistons of that era? I doubt they were cordial.

Ovechkin and Malkin have had more of a rilvary than Ovechkin-Crosby but oh well.

Friendship means nothing in a rivalry. Bird and Magic were friends. Magic and Isiah were friends.
But Kobe and LeBron hardly play each other, and when they do, they don't guard each other.
With Crosby and Ovechkin, they're often not on the ice at the same time, and it's not like the Pens and the Capitals are a bitter rivalry, anyway. Plus, their roles with their teams are different.
