You have yet to prove that the reason Baker Mayfield is getting so much bad air time is because he is white.

For the 5th time, it's hypocritical to give it as much air time as they did, call for him to be benched, lecture the audience on how "it's a slap in the face to competitors everywhere" and not cover Flowers at all.

I have it and it's great. But sometimes a website is just easier to navigate.

They started the year ranked 19th. They were ranked in the top 25th for 10 consecutive weeks until they lost for the first time to Houston.

So Jemele Hill and Steven Smith just get a pass even though they play the race card every chance they get?

These are everyday working class people getting fired while the millionaire talent is untouched.
Easy there. They laid off 150 people and every report has stated the savings are $80, so that's about $500k per person.

Let's hold off on calling them working class.

You think ESPN doesn't talk about it? Sweeps it under the rug because he's black?
I think they talk about it, then most of the company totes the message "people are overreacting because he is black"

those two are untouchable no matter the circumstances...ESPN could be going bankrupt and those two race baiters would get a raise...

If Mayfield were black and Flowers were white, the conversation would be the exact same now with Mayfield dominating the coverage and no one giving a shite about Flowers.

I'd go the other way and say if Mayfield were black it's plausible that some at ESPN would treat him more harshly for his "thuggish" behavior.

The notion that black people are referred to as thugs by tv and news outlets is laughable now.

Do you really think ESPN anchors would refer to it as thuggish?

Every day I wonder how much farther you can get from reality without realizing.

And every time you post, you set that bar a little higher.
