You don't think that played a role in ESPN's decision on keeping her or not.

So you're admitting her conservative views were a factor in her getting fired?
quote:

Not to mention, she's still getting a check from ESPN.

They just banned her from going on a national morning radio show she did a weekly spot on because the host is critical of ESPN

One playeris the QB of a blueblood CFB program. He will eventually win the Heisman trophy & will play in the CFB playoff. The other is a QB of a 9-2 AAC team.

I'm admitting that the recording of her in a parking lot played a role in her being let go.

She decided to play smart move and decided to keep getting a check.

Also, people are distancing themselves from Clay Travis because he's at the head of this Tennessee/Greg Schiano dumpster fire.

Ed Werder did her job, was better at it, had been there longer, and got fired at the same time. Britt's such a precious little snowflake that the only reason she got fired was persecuting her conservative views.

Because no one knows who TF Quinton Flowers is. Baker Mayfield is a hot topic.

You mean the qb listed as a dark horse heisman candidate of a 9-2 team that has been ranked all season? In a game in which he had over 600 yards of offense and 5 touchdowns and lost by 7 points to the 15th ranked team in the country literally 12 hours before the gameday Mayfield lecture? A game that was broadcasted on ESPN. No one knows who that guys is or do you just not know who that guy is?

And the anti-ESPN folks just ate that shite up.

Does "digital content" mean "WATCHESPN" will suck even more?

Seriously, people have figured out how to stream high quality video from their houses on a reliable basis. Why can't ESPN get it right?

Dude, the Heisman trophy was decided damn near a month ago. Baker Mayfields going to win it. At this point, it's just a matter of how much he wins it by. You are searching for a reason to say "ESPN hates white people". This Baker Mayfield argument is pretty fricking stupid on your part.

I have no idea who he is, and I would bet that most people feel the same. Baker Mayfield is a hot topic. He's controversial. Future Heisman winner. shite he does gets in the news. Especially when it's not his first strike.

But yeah, it's totes because he's white.

Interesting that you avoided the questions attached to the end...

Well I normally don't watch or pay attention to things I don't like. You might be different. I think recreational outrage is the term. Watching things knowing full well that it's going to piss you off.

I don't get it either. ESPN should follow the MLB streaming services.

For a while I thought I was one of the lucky ones. My WatchESPN app didn't start messing up until a few weeks ago. Now it buffers more than usual. Not debilitating, but aggravating.

They set the bar so damn high. I'm so impressed that they stream so many games in such high quality. With all the highlights ready for your consumption in the morning.

I feel like Baker Mayfield & Kenny Hill have been in college for a decade.

2 years later? Why not fire her 2 years ago?

It's not a "smart move' it's her only move. She has a non-compete and can't be employed at most outlets until her espn contract expires. If she wants to receive an income at all, she has to stop doing the radio show. Not really a choice here.

Because you think he's getting all of this negative attention because he's white. Like a high profile black QB wouldn't be getting the same treatment.

It's dumb.

Meanwhile ESPN sticks Katie Nolan on ESPN on Snapchat. Which seems like an okay idea. But i'm not trying to watch ESPN on snapchat. It's just weird.

I think it would be cool if Nolan & Golic Jr/Will Reeves had a mid day radio show.

A high profile black qb literally didn't get the same attention, or any attention for that matter, doing something far worse 6 days later.

You think Quinton Flowers is in the same stratosphere as Baker Mayfield?

Wow.

ETA: You're distorting reality to fit your perception of the truth.

The article Britt put out there about how difficult it was to come back from the recording of her in the parking lot was pretty tone deaf.

It's her only move. So what? I don't really feel bad for her in this situation.

Go on twitter if you want to dive into the Travis/Tennessee deal.

quote:

Why? Because you said so? And don't know who Quinton Flowers is?

I don't think I need to explain to you that Mayfield playing at OU is far more interesting than Flowers at USF. They aren't in the same ecosystem of college football. Not to mention, Mayfield has been in the news damn near since the preseason for acting out. He's had the spotlight on him the entire year.
