Mr. Dumbass, is Burasboi sucking you off for upvotes or which retards are actually eating this up?

You have been decreasing the IQ of the MSB the last week.

We just want rational conversation over an exciting NBA FA period.

In answer to multiple questions from last night -- if the trade being talked about is not the trade, and instead is a different trade, is it possible to construct a different trade that gets them a full max slot -- the answer is still no. Still about $2M short. Closer though...

quote:

...And to get that close, requires the incoming salary to be $27.093M -- i.e., AD waives his trade bonus.

....And it also means every Laker player other than Bron is moved, including Kuzma. All that's there is Bron and Luol Deng's boat anchor. So it's the same situation as before -- if a max player wants to come to the Lakers for something less than the max, it can be done.

He just updated:

quote:

Hmmmm....I stand corrected. Looks like there IS a way to construct a different trade that will work. Again, it's a different configuration than the one that was discussed (and it sends out Kuzma) and requires AD to waive (at least most of) his trade bonus.

lbj : 37.4
bi 7.6
Zo 8.7
kuz 1.9
mo 2.0
hart 1.9
bonga 1.4
Jones 1.4
4th pick 5.88
deng 5.0

x 2 empty slots 1.80 = 74.9

109-74.9 = 34.1 milli currently

then lake show sign a max, do the trade and salary gets cut down to 22.8 milli which is more than 80% of ADs 27.1 milli making the trade legit

AD is already taking an 80 million dollar discount to join the Lakers. What’s 4 million more?

Just don't get why they would put all of their eggs into 3 baskets and basically have 3 on 5 and no bench. They will sell tickets and that's about it.

I love the media frenzy to try and help Pelinka figure out the salary cap.

Until AD says he we waive his kicker none of that matters. Everything you've posted is contingent on that

I 100% see where you're coming from.

At the same time if Kawhi hypothetically told LA, "Hey, I want to come play with LeBron & AD" could you REALLY say no? I feel most teams would do everything they could to find the space and figure everything else out later.
