This guy is never happy. Why would anyone ever listen to a guy that bitches about EVERYTHING?

quote:

Carolina Panthers' safety Eric Reid slammed rapper Jay-Z as “despicable” Friday night after rumors swirled that the once supporter of former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernickwould be part-owner of an NFL team, adding that the Roc Nation founder had no grounds to suggest that players were “past kneeling” during the national anthem.

Following a preseason game against the Buffalo Bills, Reid continued to blast the music mogul's newly announced partnership with the league aimed at strengthening the “community through music and the NFL’s Inspire Change initiative.”

quote:

“Jay-Z claimed to be a supporter of Colin, wore his jersey, told people not to perform at the Superbowl because of the treatment that the NFL did to Colin and now he’s going to be a part owner? It’s kind of despicable,” he told reporters inside the locker room.

quote:

He accused the NFL in a tweet Thursday of getting to “hide behind his (Jay-Z's) black face” to cover up “blackballing” Kaepernick.

quote:

He doubled down on this sentiment Friday night: “For Jay- Z to come in and partner to address social justice, do it behind Colin’s back, get paid to do it and now he has a stake in an NFL team is just, I don’t have words.”

quote:

“When has Jay-Z ever taken a knee to come out and tell us we’re past kneeling? Yes, he’s done a lot of great work, a lot of great social justice work, but for you to get paid to go into an NFL press conference and say that we’re past kneeling, again, asinine.”

So Jay Z is buying in and this is a BAD thing? Seems to me this gives him influence.

Eric Reid is anti-happiness, so this Jay-Z business hits his radar. Cant have any contentment or happiness.

You just described all SJW liberals. It’s not just Reid. They should all be ignored.

If Eric Reid is upset about another black businessman associating with a racist organization (NFL), then

He's not a businessman....he's a business, man.

Eric Reid had a huge INT in the LSU-Bama game in 2011. He can do no wrong.

Which begs the question - why start this thread?

There is no end goal for these SJW fools to attain, so they live in a world of constant aggravation.

I really hope there was a no disparagement clause in that settlement. Actually, I hope there is one; it'd be much more entertaining if there is and the NFL decides to press the matter legally. You know Reid couldn't keep thoughts off twitter.

I'm pretty sure Jay-Z doesn't have a stake in an NFL team at the moment, but it does go to show that Reid is certainly following the situation fairly closely (even if he's falsely conflating the various stories). Some have the opinion that this IS a step by Jay-Z toward potentially leading an ownership group in the future but at this point, he's just a partner in an NFL initiative.

Also, isn't it funny that the guy who had the multi-million dollar contract with the NFL, though one of it's entities, is complaining about someone else getting paid to work with the NFL?

When are people going to realize that these guys have mental issues? MLK was a great man, with a true plan. Colin K was all about himself. What has he done since the NFL, to show us that social injustice was important to him? Nothing!!! He is fake as F and needs to be exposed.

If the NFL is so racist. Why do they knowingly and willingly hire and turn so many black people into millionaires, including Eric Reid.

That's a weird way to express racism.

bullshite, I’ve been an LSU fan my whole life, and Eric Reid has been dead to me for quite a while. It’s an embarrassment to me that he even played at LSU.

NFL stands for Not For Long. Reid needs to make sure he’s got career opportunities after football is over. Looks like he’s an apprentice as a race hustler. Race hustlers can make decent loot.

If gay-z was really backing kaepernick before and then turns around and joins the league then I think Reid is right in his sentiment.

Because all the owners are not black. The GMs are also all not black. The coaches aren’t all black. The quarterbacks aren’t all black.
