Stafford

Eli's corps is JUNK, a HOT MESS.
Stafford has an elite downfield HOF'er.
Eli's running game has been ineffective.
I will take Eli all day. And it sucks to say it.

Not sure if serious?
Victor Cruz caught 82 for 1,536
Nicks caught 76 for 1,192
the 3rd and 12th overall leaders in yards

Nicks/Cruz is probably the best 1/2 in the league.
I would love for you to list the receiving corps that have a better top three than Nicks/Cruz/Manningham

Eli is easily more proven, but Stafford's numbers this year were MVP-esque under normal circumstances.
The Giants WRs are good, but Calvin Johnson is easily superior to Nick and Cruz, IDGAF what the yardage stats were.
And you can't ignore Pettigrew's contribution to Stafford's receiving corps.
Stafford hasn't played enough games yet, but he obviously has a ton of upside in the argument.
I'd take Eli because he arguably the most clutch QB in the NFL, but it's pretty close IMO.

Stafford stats wise blew Eli out the water. But Eli has won a Super Bowl and can possibly get his 2nd this year. Proven clutch in big games, especially in the 4th quarter.
If Stafford puts the numbers up consistently for the next 2 to 3 years he will easily jump Eli then. But has to prove himself for more then one year and prove he can win in the playoffs.

Who gets Megatron?
Eli with Megatron would put up some huge numbers...

Its hard to pick against Stafford for the next three years, he has Calvin Johnson and he's only getting better.

Next three years? It seems like it makes it too easy, it has to be Eli, he is at his peak years the next three years and playing great
I think Stafford put up better stats this year but Eli had teh leagues worst rushing attack (3.5 yards a rush) and put up great numbers as well (and it being New York his receivers are now being hyped as better than they are IMO). He was the only constant on his team, closed strong and has won another couple playoff games to polish an already good resume
Stafford might be the best young QB in the league but this being his breakout year he has only done it once and you would like to see more consistency before being sure he was the real deal
After the big four QBs (Brady, Brees, P Manning, Rodgers) I think Eli is the fifth best in teh league... people just don't want to think that because he looks like the kid in the back of the classroom eating paste

What is the over/under on how many times the following lazy arguments will be used in this debate:
*Stafford can't stay healthy
*Stafford just throws it up to Calvin Johnson

Eli, he got a ring by winning in the playoffs on the road
