I don't like Joey Crawford but I was on the baseline shooting for my TV station during that game.
Duncan was flat out lying about talking trash. He did it all game long. He basically was talking "at" Crawford rather than to him. So yea, he didn't saying anything directly at Joey, but what you are talking loudly about somebody needing glasses right after a whistle by a specific ref, its pretty clear who you are talking about.
That said, I didn't think it really warranted an ejection. Its just that Duncan was absolutely talking trash and for him to act all innocent is bullshite.
