Might be just me, but I think these overseas games are fricking stupid. London, Germany, Mexico, now Brazil?

They are trying to go global like the NBA and MLB. However basketball and baseball reached other nations organically. The NFL is trying to force its product on people who really don’t want it. It’s not like football is a new sport. And it’s not like this is the first time the NFL has tried to reach an international audience. Super Bowl 10 was broadcast in 40+ countries (at least over the radio). If football was going to go global it would have done so long ago.

Germany I understand. Apparently they actually do play American football there and it has a following.

London, the fans show up and I get to wake up and watch football. Not a bad deal.

Brazil does nothing for me.

Brazil is a complete fricking shithole and dangerous as hell, especially at night. Car jackings at every stop light.
